    • After getting the child’s birth certificate, you will contact to the concerned Embassy having the original birth certificate and two passport size photos of your child/children and then will apply for your baby’s passport and travel document and this process takes 2 to 6 weeks to collect the baby’s passport.

  • What do you tell your child?
    • Of course, surrogacy issues are not restricted to you and your surrogate. You need to consider carefully what, if anything, you plan to tell your child. If your friends or members of your family know about the surrogacy, then it may be better to tell your child yourself than to risk them finding out second hand and feeling deceived.

  • What are the documents required from International Patients opting Surrogacy in India?
    • For International Patients intending for Surrogacy should furnish following documents

      The Couple should be duly married and marriage should sustain for at least two years.

      A letter from the embassy of the foreign country in India or the foreign ministry of the country should be enclosed with the Visa application stating clearly that the Country recognizes the surrogacy - The Child/Children to be born to the commissioning couple through the Indian surrogate mother will be permitted entry into their country as biological child/children of the couple commissioning surrogacy.

      The Couple will furnish an undertaking that they would take care of the child/children born through surrogacy.

      The couple should produce a duly notarized agreement between the applicant couple and the prospective Indian surrogate mother

      The Couple should be on medical visa.
